I believe this is why a lot of women struggle with accepting their bodies after having babies. Everyone around us is constantly pointing out how we still look pregnant or they bring up how we should workout.

This whole SnapBack culture annoys me it takes longer than a year to even go back to feeling somewhat “normal” so i don’t understand why everyone seems to think as soon as you pop your baby out you should be fine and back to normal. Some women do go back to their pregnancy bodies some don’t. Both are okay.

What would get me though is how everyone seems to tear down ones who don’t snap back. Make fun of their bodies and all. I’ve witnessed it a lot or they make jokes about women who have stretch marks. I’ve heard more disgusting things from women than men though. It’s always other women tearing down another..

Maybe if people weren’t so harsh after women have babies women would be more accepting of their bodies.

I preach body positivity though as long as you accept you everyone else’s opinion is irrelevant. All I’m saying is it just would be nice if society wasn’t so harsh to women. #Motherhood101
